How does it work?
Use your library card and PIN to create an account on Libby or OverDrive (or both). Then get started reserving and enjoying materials.
For the most part, items on these apps work like a standard library, they can only be checked out by one patron at a time. The Lucky Day Collection is a selection of titles available on first come, first served basis. Several times a year OverDrive and Libby host a world-wide book club – Big Library Read. The selected title is available immediately and simultaneously during the set time period.
Items are automatically returned and removed from your device when the due date passes, there is no possibility of late fees with the digital library. Patrons are encouraged to return items manually if they finish early so the item can pass to the next person. Borrowers can choose to stream or download selected titles.
